Clarity starts here.

We understand that your time is valuable. To make scheduling as convenient as possible, we offer two types of appointments that you may self-schedule. Current clients, contact us directly to schedule your appointment.

Initial Consultation:

Start here if you are a prospective client or a current or former client with a new inquiry. This thirty-minute phone call with Sarah is perfect for exploring your legal questions and getting a sense of our services. From there, Sarah can detail your options for the next steps.

One-Hour APPOINTMENT:

Meet with Sarah by phone, Zoom, or in person to discuss your estate planning or probate/estate administration questions. Great as a follow-up to the Initial Consultation or as a stand-alone appointment.

office HOURS:

Our staff answers the phone 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday -Friday. If you call outside of these hours, leave a message and we will return your call on the next business day.

Attorney appointments are scheduled by appointment only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and on some Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • You can self-schedule your Initial Consultation or One-Hour Legal Session by visiting our Contact page. Alternatively, call our office (425-967-3493) or email our front desk (frontdesk@jordanlawfirmpllc.com) with your appointment request.

  • You may see a button to click to request a new link. If so, click the button and then check your email. If you do not see that option, email frontdesk@jordanlawfirmpllc.com and request a new link. If you have partially filled out the form, put that detail in your email so we can make sure we send you the correct form link.

  • According to your preference, we can upload documents to our secure portal, email them to you, or mail them to you. You can also arrange to pick them up from our office. Call 425-967-3493 or email frontdesk@jordanlawfirmpllc.com to schedule your pick-up time.

  • If you will be using our secure portal, you will receive an email from Clio or Clio Connect inviting you to create a password to access the portal. If you do not receive this message, call or email our front desk to request the email.

  • Store your documents in a safe place in your home. It is not necessary to store them in a safe, but if you have a safe and can fit the documents in the safe, you may choose to store them there. In the alternative, you have the option to file your original Will with your county Clerk’s Office. In that case, the Clerk takes the original Will and stores it in their files in exchange for a small fee (about $25.00).

If you choose to store your documents in a bank safe deposit box, make sure your Personal Representative and other appointees know the documents are kept there. Your appointees don’t necessarily need access to the box, but it can be helpful later if they ever need to file your Will or use the other documents.

  • Our office is on the second floor of our building. Unfortunately, there is no elevator up to the second floor. If the lack of an elevator poses an issue for you, we will make appropriate arrangements, such as meeting you downstairs if you are dropping off documents, meeting you at your home or another meeting place that is accessible, or scheduling phone or Zoom calls instead of in-person meetings. We will make it work!

  • If you feel you have an urgent matter, you are always welcome to call us to explain the circumstances. Although we encourage everyone to get their affairs in order well in advance of something happening, we understand that sometimes unexpected events occur. Just call us; we will consider the circumstances and our caseload and see what is possible. If we are truly unable to help, we will give you a referral to another attorney who may be able to help.

  • Under certain circumstances, yes. Sarah has visited clients at the hospital and rehab facilities to complete Wills and other documents on an emergency basis. Availability depends on the attorney’s schedule, and extra fees may apply (such as rush fees and travel fees). If we cannot accommodate your request, we can usually provide a referral to another trusted estate attorney.

  • Clients may park in the small parking lot to the south of our 600 Main Street building. Although there is a sign to pay for parking, clients need not pay parking fees when visiting us for an appointment. Ample street parking is also usually available.

  • Currently, Wills Workshops are available virtually on Zoom, the online video-conferencing platform. You can receive a link to join the Workshop by registering for a session on our Wills Workshop page. In the future, we plan to bring back periodic in-person Workshops.

  • Your options are 1) make an electronic payment (electronic funds transfer or debit/credit card) using this secure payment link, 2) drop off or mail us a check, 3) drop off cash, or 4) call us or visit in person to give us your bank or debit/credit card information. If you plan to come to the office to make your payment, please call ahead or schedule a time to stop by as we do not accept walk-ins.
